Job Summary

  • Employment Type: Per Diem, Travel Or Contract

  • Shifts: Day Shift, Evening, NOC (Nights), Weekends (10hrs x 4 days; 8hrs x 5 days; 12hrs x 3 days)

Job Credentialling Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1 Year experience as a Trained Medication Aide
  2. Must hold current TMA certification in Minnesota.
  3. Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification required.
  4. Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
  5. CPR/BLS Certification
  6. Crisis Prevention and Intervention Certification
  7. Proof of Negative TB Test (PPD Test, QuantiFERON-Gold, or Chest X-ray)
  8. Proof of continuing education
  9. Reliable transportation
  10. Clear criminal background check and drug screening

Job Description:

• Assist in the preparation of medications for administration. • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities. • Review and follow a written care plan. • Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software. • Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom. • Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor. • Perform other duties as requested.
