Job Summary

  • Employment Type: Per Diem, Travel Or Contract
  • Profession: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Shifts: Day Shift, Evening, NOC (Nights), Weekends (10hrs x 4 days; 8hrs x 5 days; 12hrs x 3 days)

Job Credentials:

  1. Minimum 1 Year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  2. Active and unencumbered CNA License
  3. Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
  4. CPR/BLS Certification
  5. Proof of Negative TB Test (PPD Test, QuantiFERON-Gold, or Chest X-ray)
  6. Proof of continuing education
  7. Reliable transportation
  8. Clear criminal background check and drug screening

Job Requirements:

  • Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
  • Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information per nurse delegation.
  • Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining licensure.
  • Implement individualized care plans and offer support to patients to maintain their dignity, privacy, and comfort.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a clean, tidy, and safe environment by reporting environmental deficiencies including equipment or lighting problems to the charge nurse.
